The Desktop Service

The FactorSoft Desktop Service is a standalone application designed to automate overnight and
background tasks, such as:

· changing the system date

· processing red flags

· rebuilding collection queues

· maintains accrual, ineligibility and recourse information to speed up client calculations

 

Once installed, the Service can be run continuously, or you can stop and start it at will.  The settings for controlling the individual tasks in each database are defined in the FactorSoft application itself, and allow for customization of each of the tasks.
